Those are seriously awesome dogs. I have one. K9/MWD, Schitzhund and French Ring lines on both sides of her family. Her littermate brother is a K9 in my town and her dad is a retired K9 that just does community events now. My Mali girl is Momma's cuddle monkey couch potato. I thought they needed lots and lots of exercise and stimulation, otherwise they are more likely to shred your couch than laze around on it. Is that wrong?

ZOMG, now I know exactly where heaven is!! Helen, please visit Z and burn the town down. To the ground. Then report back every morning (you don't have to take notes at night while you're burning). "I wonder what Z had Helen doing Last Night?"

Well, deleted, we've been given our marching orders by @creelunion. Caveat: I should probably tell you the last time I tried to "burn the town down," it was the 90s. I don't know what that even looks like anymore.

I have a ridgeback/mastiff - she used to be highly energetic when she was young, and now does a very good impression of a carpet.

I don't know what that even looks like anymore. The town has been rebuilt. Perfect condition for burning it down again. If I recall correctly -- or maybe I just guessed because of your USF paraphernalia -- you're in Tampa. Helen, that is a town that really needs to be burnt down. Tinder everywhere. Z, last time I was there on business we ate dinner at a nice place that had some kind of record wine cellar that snaked all over the place under the restaurant. You girls could start the fire there. Maybe some lucky boy can be the meat in an HZ sandwich?

@zumbamami Likewise! And who wants to leave the dogs to bother with the town anyway, certainly not me. The whole point is dogs and dog beach!

A little (A LOT) outside of my budget, but, if we could find some wealthy tinder man to take us to dinner there, it could work. And, all our breweries are dog-friendly!! So, Fidos are welcome. Mine are used to dining alfresco, and have nice restaurant manners. @creelunion Are you from FL? You caught the whole USF thing.

I have a rescue. Nearest guess is she's Border Collie and golden retriever.
My H is not a dog person, so when she was a puppy I thought I was getting a laid back easy dog. She was supposed to be golden retriever, Wheaton, and maybe some husky.
She's smart. She's wicked terrible terrifying smart. She thinks up new tricks for me to do weekly.
She's OCD. She's controlling. She's riddled with anxiety -- and I love her to pieces.
Did I mention she's smart?
My trainer (who owns two malinois) shakes her head and says "she's amazing. Never seen such a clever dog -- but boy oh boy she sure does keep you on your toes!"
