Great Radio Controversy is one of my favorite albums. I can play about half the songs on there (or at least used to be able to). Hang Tough is a kick-ass song to get a burst of adrenaline to when running. Sounds like you had a blast! Tesla is just one of those under-appreciated bands but they are still working their asses off 30 years later, writing songs and playing all the time. Gotta love 'em. They have a positive, hippy vibe to them between the great guitar riffs. Those guitar riffs move me more than anything (not the super-extended ones some bands -- cough-- Journey!-- play at live concerts, but just the genuinely GOOD riffs Tesla has). This concert was fun because the crowd was old-school and appreciates such guitar action. I went to a concert with a younger crowd once and noted how no one clapped for great guitar riffs (too busy taking selfies). It was odd. This night, though, Poison really took the stage and had the ENTIRE stadium on their feet screaming and singing -- even to the cheesy Every Rose... haha. Well, have enough beer it becomes a highly significant song again that one just must belt out as loud as possible. Add in a salute to the military and everyone is going crazy (Something to believe in). Plus, CC wailing away.... Yeah, it was fun. A chance to just forget life a bit and enjoy the moment. Music is great like that.
