I had to share this. It popped up on my feed today. BUT - I posted this over a year prior to finding EP. I had never realized, until now, how long the seeds of discontent had actually been sprouting!  |

Possibly.
That may be a "Happy Ending" for you.
But what about the guy who doesn't get to share a laugh or a quiet moment with you?

I'm pretty happy. I'll meet the guy who can share laughs with me ... well, actually I know quite a few of those already. I'm still looking forward to finding a guy who can share laughs naked & ALSO have hot sex with me (sometimes at the same time). But I'm still happy even without that guy.
So for me, moving on (from my SM) was the right thing.

I think most of us get a feeling that something is wrong, waaay before we ever google "sexless marriage".
And even when we do google "sexless marriage" we are usually in a mindset that "everything is great bar the sex".
And if we start telling our story on a forum like this, we initially usually have no clue about just how far down the chute things have gone.
In reading extensively on this subject since Feb 2009, I reckon that usually, someone telling their story usually applies at least a 50% discount about just how bad their deal is.

You're right, baza - I definitely arrived at EP singing that same chorus. I'm so grateful to the initial ILIASM group (those that followed & some who didn't) for helping me change my tune so quickly. The life I have now is nothing at all like what I would have imagined just a short amount of time ago. THANK YOU my friends- you definitely helped me see how deep my shithole had gotten & kindly left me a map out, even! |
