Interesting article and if they're happy with the situation, then good for them! However they don't mention whether they have any sexual needs they take care of themselves - IE masturbation. I have to admit i looked into this myself as a possible lifestyle and just give up hope , but enjoy everything else. Not for me. |

It looks like a pretty good match to me.
I can't see why a mutually agreed sexless marriage couldn't be a rip roaring success.
This example of "Brian" and "Alison" is as sure as shit a way better example of a union than we see among our membership.

The key thing is that they *both* feel the same way, so neither one is trying to be the controller. It works for them - great, and I'm sure there are thousands more like them, who have *agreed* on the level of importance of sex in their relationship.

Interesting & lucky for them that they talk about it. In my SM, we got to a point where we couldn't even talk about choosing what to watch on tv without rancor & dispute (& god forbid the conversation be about how to spend money, or of all things, about sex).

I really hope that my STBX finds someone as happy with celibacy as this couple is. Of course, she will need to find a man who is also very wealthy.

sexlessness, in my opinion is usually when one partner is thrilled with it, and the other one is not.
