Damn I need to blog about this. Can I quote you on my site? I won't use your user name... just refer to you as someone I was chatting with in an online forum. Would you mind? Not at all. Please drop a link here when you do; I'd love to read it. Thank you sweetie! I certainly will!

ted said: Like I said upthread, I sometimes have trouble valuing myself enough to do things like that. Thank you for the reminder. The things you mention are right up my alley. Gosh, however do our self-worths get so trashed? It seems inhuman. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ^^^THIS^^^^ I think we ACCEPT what we THINK we deserve. Subconscious thought probably, but, why many of us stay stuck for so long. When we begin to realize that WTF, I DESERVE a life! I AM an AMAZING, UNIQUE person with WORTH. NOT someone's "Pawn" in their little chess game. At this point, when we do see this as the truth - even if we've arrived at it basically by retraining our brains to think this way through positive thinking (replacing negative thoughts with only positive) - only at this point can we begin to make a plan to get our lives back. Start small. One thing. Start retraining your brain - Positive thinking - stop the negative thoughts - right when they start - literally stop them and replace with something kind about yourself. Sounds a bit hoakie, yes, but I promise you. This will eventually work. Get this positive thinking down then do something more. Not everything at once, something simple like join a new gym - take some guitar lessons, whatever interests you. Just start. Then keep the momentum going with more. All while in your sm - you can start living you know, even before you leave - should you decide to at some point.
