I have read and own these two books as well so I will just leave them right here for those interested/curious.
I'd say that maybe you could buy them and leave a copy laying around the house, but I wouldn't promise it would help a spouse who simply doesn't want sex with you. But I found these helpful in getting me through and learning how to be in a sexual relationship again (not that you need a manual, but it helps to know a few things). My husband and I will peruse a few chapters together occasionally but we don't get too far before we put the book down and just start doing what we do best... ha.
