So I presume most of sit down and watch television with our spouses. So what happens when there is a sexy or erotic scene. Does you spouse blank out, ignore, squirm. Do you sit there like a lemon or use it to dig at your spouse?
Personally my wife become expressionless waiting for my stupid impersonation of Paris Hiltons "That's hot"

My refuser would not watch anything that involved sex. Not even a harmless sexual joke. She would get all offended and demand that I change the channel immediately.

This is a great question. My wife will sometimes watch sexual scenes and I don't say a thing. It's most often in a show she picks, like Game of Thrones. She comments at times, sometimes positive things about how hot the guy is, or how we should try it. But then she refuses later. The messages are mixed and confusing. If I chose a sexy show, she'd get accusatory and mad.

My wife will often compliment the female in the scene on specifics of her anatomy (I don't dare), but in a kind of tone like it's as casual as ordering food at the drive-through.

We usually watched harmless things like 'escape to the country'. But occasionally we watched movies. Sex scenes caused heavy silence, holding breaths and not dearing to move till it was over. I tried to pretend being relaxed about it but not very convincing.

I cannot recall the last sex scene on home and garden TV or Criminal Minds or the other crime shows she watches. We have a sexless TV relationship. What sucks (or doesn't) is she at one time enjoyed watching porn and trying to emulate the screen action.

I rarely watch telly with him. Rarely watch at all actually.
If I do happen to be with him and something like that comes on, I can't help it, I say something like "jammy bastards". Probs a bit passive aggressive now I think about it :/

Good question. He usually seems oblivious or he will make some crack about how he doesn't understand why everything has to have a sex scene in it. :/

There used to be a silence in my house or maybe a comment from the wife along lines of "she's going for it isn't she?". However, ever since I started having the courage to respond to her piss takes about noise - along the lines of "nothing wrong with a woman who actually enjoys sex" or be the first to make a comment such as "that's the closest this lounge has seen to sexual exchange for the last 2 years" I feel a lot better. It's immature admittedly but why I should I continue listening to negative comments about noise or panting without responding.

I'm extremely audio and I love talking of all different things during sex. Quietness during sex is boring.

y'all remember the movie with Meryl Streep and Tommy Lee Jones (Hope Springs) about a married couple who fell into a sm, went to therapy and a couples weekend to rejuvenate their sex life?
it was the most uncomfortable 2 hrs for my wife and incredibly validating for me.
Neither of us say anything anymore during a sexy scene in whatever were watching together (sad)

Reminds me of if I'm watching something with the kids and it gets a bit steamy... we give each other knowing looks and the little one says without fail "they always have to don't they mum" and rolls his eyes. Funny!
