In the earlier days of my marriage I used to initiate sex areound 2 or 3 times a week. It was that much because I was being rejected each time. If you remove the times we actually had sex your talking about 100-150 rejections a year. What would have happened if my wife had been given the following day off work for every occasion that instead of saying 'not tonight sweetheart' she enthusiastically participated.

How's about a scenario where every time you gracefully accepted her "not tonight sweetheart", you got the next day off work ?? What would happen in that scenario ??

What if she told you she would fuck you if you took the day off work?
I suppose you can guess how that worked out ...

What if she told you she would fuck you if you took the day off work? I'd tell her I've got 6 weeks of vacation time stockpiled...

I'd tell her I've got 6 weeks of vacation time stockpiled... Gives new meaning to the term, "paid vacation, with benefits". Yeah, i fell for it. Not six weeks but six days. Never moved more furniture or did more yard work in my life than over that vacation ... fucking acts of service.

If you remove the times we actually had sex your talking about 100-150 rejections a year. What would have happened if my wife had been given the following day off work for every occasion that instead of saying 'not tonight sweetheart' she enthusiastically participated. So the math goes like this. Rooting requests = 3/week at the high end or 156 annual requests. Peak response = 6 per annum. Requests = 156 Successful requests = 6 Unsuccessful requests 150. Strike rate 6 in 156. Or 1 in 26. Or 3.85% Strike out rate 150 out of 156. Or 1 in 1.04. Or 96.15% That is quite astounding persistence. Back in the day in my deal, I would estimate refusals at about 12 per year. But, difference was, once I got refused, I found it so deflating and humiliating that I wouldn't make any such attempt for at least another month. So my missus only had to tell me to fuck off 12 times a year or thereabouts, not 150 times a year.

I used a similar strategy to baz. The idea of 150 rejections per year, year after year... Horrifying

It was humiliating enough when I did succeed. What some people call foreplay I called corpseplay.
