Unfortunately, people think that their preferences are normal. So they would just say average or above average when there is no objective measurement. Or they know that no one would want someone with no libido, so they just lie. But yes, it is a big con. Then in marriage, the refuser says, "I had no idea sex was important to you! I thought you just loved me for me!" I've heard that one before! "I thought you wanted to be with me for me". Almost putting a really negative spin on the fact that you want a physical relationship too! Not almost, it is a HUGELY negative spin. They are spinning it that simply wanting sex is disrespectful. This is the stock and trade of card carrying self identified asexuals. Spend some time in AVEN and you read it all the time.

I wonder how many refusers who are asexual not only lie about sexlessness to get what they want, appear normal, whatever, but also lie to never have to deal with the fact that they are asexual. Why not just embrace asexuality if that is what one is, and one is perfectly normal, etc.

Perhaps with a contract written on human skin in blood. (sarcasm)
That still wouldn't prevent the bait and switch, though.
