Between EP closing today and Prince dying today, it struck me again how many losses have happened this year.
I ended things with my refuser, I was laid off from my job, and EP went away. A lot of famous people have died (the ones who hurt the most for me were David Bowie and Prince.)
There have been two bright spots this year: I adopted a pet cat in February. And, I found a new job pretty quickly after being laid off. They want me to start May 4.
So, it's been a hell of a year so far; and today, I'm trying to focus on the good things...but I am really feeling the losses.

So, it's been a hell of a year so far; and today, I'm trying to focus on the good things...but I am really feeling the losses. Allow yourself to grieve the things that bring grief, and celebrate that which is cause for celebration. I'm tired. Guess what I'm saying is that you get to embrace it all. And I'll embrace you with a hug. You've come a long way baby! I'm excited for what's ahead for you. |

Sometimes people say "good things happen in threes". Let's assume both are true. And then lets count: Bad things for Kat: lost her job, lost EP, lost a boyfriend.... Good things for Kat: got a new job, is active on ILIASM forum, __________.... Maybe a new boyfriend is in your near future!!! |

Refused spouses find their lives intersect when all refusing spouses die in a freak airplane crash and the refused find themselves stranded on a deserted island. Adult shenanigans ensue.
