It's sad but true - it seems to me that all the sane people live in places where it snows in the winter. That is too bad - I thought I was one of the sane ones! But I guess everybody thinks that, and we can't all be right ... Where do you live? (If you don't want to tell for privacy reasons, I understand.) |

Well, the first snow of the season is upon us. Won't stay long as there isn't any frost in the ground. ..YET...Drive careful those in inclement weather.

Seriously. I hate this shit. Can I come stay with any of you Floridians?  Absolutely!! Anytime!!! I love Florida! November to April is beautiful then in the Summer the heat makes the pools so nice. There are times when the temp is warmer up north than in Florida where we get it bad is the humidity but it's worth not dealing with snow. So come on down!! |

It's sad but true - it seems to me that all the sane people live in places where it snows in the winter. I really wouldn't mind so much, if they would clean the goddamn roads thoroughly. I live in Virginia. It snows every year, but usually only once or twice, and not that deeply. (Although we have had some epic snow blankets, occasionally.) But the dumbasses in charge of the money in most of Virginia, will not spend it to do a really adequate job of cleaning the roads thoroughly and promptly. It pisses me off. I want to move to a place where they take clear roads seriously. Ah man, i remember the blizzard of the winter if 2002-03 that brought Virginia Beach to a standstill. Mostly because all the commands in the Norfolk area called around on the recall and told all the sailors raised in the south to stay home so we wouldn't kill ourselves. |
