I know you don't like snow, but that's a beautiful picture ! Thank you. I agree. It's peaceful and tranquil, until tomorrow morning when we have to drive in it.

There is snow headed this way, just in time for driving in it in the morning.
I am excited for the snow, but after the holidays I will eventually complain about it!

And this... is why I live in the desert. The beautiful winters are worth the hellacious summers. I finally had to break out a light jacket last night.
I love to visit the snow. Fortunately it's only a few hours' drive. As are the beaches of San Diego.

It's sad but true - it seems to me that all the sane people live in places where it snows in the winter.
I really wouldn't mind so much, if they would clean the goddamn roads thoroughly.
I live in Virginia. It snows every year, but usually only once or twice, and not that deeply. (Although we have had some epic snow blankets, occasionally.)
But the dumbasses in charge of the money in most of Virginia, will not spend it to do a really adequate job of cleaning the roads thoroughly and promptly. It pisses me off. I want to move to a place where they take clear roads seriously.

;-) Check back with me in June when it's 120°F (48°C) here.

Seriously. I hate this shit. Can I come stay with any of you Floridians? My daughter went to the beach today here in Georgia. I know, I know...I will refer to your response to DryCreek.

Seriously. I hate this shit. Can I come stay with any of you Floridians? Sure, you can visit us in Orlando! You can get plenty of stuff for your Tumblr feed. There's a lot of us here, and the high tomorrow is 84 degrees F. Just promise to drive carefully. If you don't, I will include your town in my Floridian's Revenge tour. That's my plan when I get old. I will take the widest Winnebago I can find, head north, driving slow in the left lane with my turn signal on all the time.
