No shocking revelations, but at least it's close to reality. Finally, one can only hope it's the beginning to more research, displacing the old, "that's all you think about, and it really isn't important."

They did multiple studies to reach their conclusions. It would have been simpler to read our stories.

Of course, this pain isn't unique to men, but the article does a spot-on job of dispelling the myths that: a) Guys desire intimacy just for the physical pleasure, and b) Guys are used to rejection so it's no big deal.

They did multiple studies to reach their conclusions. It would have been simpler to read our stories. But then that would be dismissed as 'anecdotal', not academic. I'm really excited to learn that there is actual study being done as it will mean that Refused will have another 'club in the bag' to work with, that can't be as easily dismissed.
