I don't know when it happened, but I sensed a change in his reactions to me, that I became more of an annoyance and a bother to him. I withdrew and changed my behavior to what I felt would be less annoying, and all I heard were questions about whether I was okay. Couldn't win.

We're all stories in the end. Just make it a good one.
