Good idea to keep a close watch on your finances and to think ahead. Just out of interest Sister LEXUS, is your retirement plan a solo job or is it a joint deal ?

Talk about enlightening... sitting down with a retirement planner is likely to reveal as much as a joint therapy session. Disparate goals for retirement - when, where, how, and risk tolerance for investing.

I do not understand people, some in my family, who have no clue how they will retire. I get that unfortunate circumstances may derail a plan but you must first have a plan. An exit strategy of sorts.

No joke. Even if you trust in the future of Social Security, it doesn't ensure a comfortable retirement. You've got to plan for yourself.
