I recently heard this song on the radio and it gets to me every time. I don't so much miss the ex but sometimes I wish he could have been a better man. However I know I made the right choice by leaving. The lyrics "pushed my love away like a loaded gun and thought I'd never run" really summarize my situation well. Enjoy the song.

I feel the same way, not missing him, but I do feel the loss of what could have been. I miss that it never worked out, and a lost 25-years.

bballgirl, I have two songs for you: The first is a song I posted a while back, but it's so good I will post it again. This song has literally helped me maintain a friendship with an old girlfriend - Don Henley's "The Heart of the Matter" The next one has a different attitude. It's from Lucinda Williams, a woman I love and admire a lot - I think I posted that one earlier too. Oh well!
