All this applies either way. There's a reason I asked. @phinheasgage, Let me be more direct. If that were the intent then SHE would have titled the article "Top 10 ways that SPOUSES destroy a marriage". But that is not the case. While on the one hand I agree in principle with what she said I'm very weary of feminist oriented articles blaming it all on the guy. And unless she has a similar article focused on the wife's contribution it is nothing but that. |

I agree, I think the women here are the best in the world. And that's not an exaggeration because we do have wonderful women from all over the world with us here!

Great emotive and dramatic title - "Top 10 Things Men Do To Destroy Their Marriage"

Not "undermine", not "damage", not "devalue" - ah no, that's far too tame, let's go out all the way to Destroy.

Then trot out 10 hackneyed points to blokes, essentially saying "don't be a jerk toward your spouse".
Sound enough advice really, but hardly groundbreaking stuff.

Both lists are very stereotyping and annoying. 'Withholding affection and sex' is in the women's list but not in the men's list. And there are more things that apply just as well for women as for men but are not in both lists.
