I had not planned on getting a new car just yet (although since my previous MINI was 8.5 years old and had 120,000 miles on it, I figured it would happen in the next 6 months or so.) But when I took it in for service yesterday and got an estimate of $1300 for repairs, I decided it was time. Road trip!

Come visit us in Central Florida! Dinner at the ocean at The Crown Plaza! Bring a New Yorker, and Pack a Georgian In with you!
My sons 6'7" basketball coach drives one of these with head room to spare!
Well...you got cat class and you got cat style!!!
( Better get those windows tinted!)

Oooh, shiny!
I guess you really did like your Mini. ;-) Is this the same model, or did you change up for a different style? Something with a roomier back seat?

I always keep the back seat folded down anyway, so there will be room for my beach chair. I would have to put it in the car to go to the beach anyway...so I just leave the beach chair & towels in the car all the time.

That's what I was wondering... where does the beach chair go when she's using the back seat? Then again, I recall @smartkat is likely to find somewhere barely semi-private and put the beach chair to use...

I also live in California. Sounds like the making of a ILIASM party!
