I haven't dated in years. Where do you find normal people? Most of my friends are married. Most have kids and probably don't have time to help me find anyone.

All my friends want me to try online dating. Ugh, I don't like *shopping* online, let alone dating! haha
I am trying to get out more and do things with friends; this Friday a friend's husband has a gig at a pub near the city and I'm going. I've been trying to talk myself into joining meet-up groups near me, but meeting with new people isn't easy for me (introverted and a bit shy, but I'm friendly and fun once I know people).
It isn't easy after being out of the dating scene for a couple decades!

I suppose they are all over the place, but it's meeting men who are compatible. I haven't dated in more than 26-years, and don't relish the thought of it. You could try places that interest you. There may or may not be men there who are compatible with you. I've never in my life met a boyfriend in a grocery store, coffee shop, or all the usual hangouts people go to. That's not to say that you won't, it's just never happened that way for me. I met my boyfriends at work or at a British pub in my younger days, but as I'm not in Britain and not working, then I have no idea. I'm in the same boat as you, but I'm just focusing on healing right now. Good luck to you.

Find some with things you're interested in (hiking, climbing, photography, art appreciation, etc.); gauge whether it has enough potential to be worth your time. There also singles groups that organize activities where everyone just happens to be single.
