First, here is a little background.
My mom is in an Alzeimer's facility in the town where I live. This is one of the main reasons I moved here, so I could be closer to her & see her more often. Almost every Saturday, I go visit her during lunch. She is less agitated then and is kind of distracted while she eats, so it's a good time to visit.
Well, last Saturday, I came out and guess who had left a note on my vehicle? Yes, my refusing cheater. The note said that she is so sorry for witholding herself from me for so long, she really loves me, and wants to fix things. She also talked about all of my good qualities that make her attracted to me.
I am calling bullshit. She has not said a positive thing about me in over 7 years. And now, since I moved out, she sees positive qualities? I just don't buy it.
Any thoughts?

I agree. You have known her for 7 years and people don't change that quickly. She is probably lonely, broke or depressed and thinks that you will plug the gap until she feels better.....Sorry.

Your refuser did that on purpose - thinking you might be more vulnerable after you had just been visiting your mom who has Alzheimer's. Very devious and bitchy. |

Actually, we have been married for 28 years. The last 5.5 have been completely celibate. She told me that she expected me to be happy and fulfilled in a marriage that never included sex.

I'm with mathdoll and Kat on this.
It seems so impersonal to drive to your mother's facility, and leave a note on your car. I don't know your refuser, but it seems like game playing to me. Why not arrange to meet you in person and say this?

Well Creel, it gets better. She once told me that she was not in the mood for sex because I had spent too much money & there was not enough available for her.
