Does anybody think the virus will have an effect on our situations good or bad?

Neutral. I do not think the sexless partner will suddenly turn sexy due to the imminent end of civilization. And sharing saliva with germs is another tick in the no no no column. My wife and I are currently semi isolating, only going out when necessary. There are no upsurges in arguements or bickering.

When people face their mortality they also face some crucial questions about how they’ve spent their lives. These questions will arise when people you know get sick and die from the virus or when death levels in your country or area cause you to reevaluate your life.
This isn’t going to make any refusers do a 360. It may cause some of the refused to finally decide it’s worth it to permanently stay or leave. It also may be too late.

Effect of being isolated with spouse for a few weeks I think would have a major effect positive or negative.

I do not think any relationships will improve. I do know my retirement account ($$$$) is worth a lot less right now.
They say money and romance go together, so if I have less money does romance also decrease? Not that there is any romance currently so that is a mute question.
My daughter is shopping for us and if I even mention going any place other than medical appointments my W gets upset.

Actually, I was hoping for a 180 not a 360. For a lot of normal, married couples, I expect them to contribute to a spike in birth rate in 9 months. For me, not much change. DW has medical issues that increase her risk, so she's staying home. I'm here too, only making a grocery run as necessary. It has given me more time to spend here and catch up on some stories. It may (or may not) push me to change course.

I suppose I could be thankful for this. Being trapped in my house with her 24/7 is getting old fast. I may come to a point where this becomes so intolerable that I would rather divorce and be homeless than stay and have a roof over my head. This is not going well for keeping the peace.

If I was still pursuing her for sex, I could see this used as another reason not to have sex. "Remember, the CDC says to stay 6 feet away. It's for our safety". Like it's a new sexually transmitted disease. Lol

If your city or state has shut down, it will probably be a tension builder. Asexuals get stressed with sex and they are already stressed by the situation. Don't expect forced together time to yield romance.

"The Department of Health issued guidance Saturday on ways to stay COVID-19-free when the birds and bees beckon amid the coronavirus pandemic.
First and foremost: self love is the best — and least dangerous — kind of love.
“You are your safest sex partner,” the document reads. “Masturbation will not spread COVID-19, especially if you wash your hands (and any sex toys) with soap and water for at least 20 seconds before and after.”
I've got this part down good.
