It seems I was coming at this from a different angle: I was thinking about refusers (like our exes, for those who have left), wanting to join this cuddle site LITERALLY for the cuddles. It’s likely many of them don’t want sex or something sexual. But, as a recent post pointed out, touch starvation is a very real thing. If people who don’t want sex but do recognize that they want non-sexual touch and affection go to this site for cuddles only and it ends up turning sexual? Well then, I feel bad for our ex refusers/those folks. If they can’t get it there, where can they get it? Just to reinforce your post here. I recall beachguy educating me about asexuals need for non-sexual touch. However the problem begins with the deception and lies that it could lead to sexual touch. More false hope. ( asexuals have no empathy for you after leading you into that trap, to fill their own need.) The person who wants cuddles only would do better with another asexual. Just a side note: I think there are times when we all need just cuddles, but %100 of the time? That's a different story.

Okay, I looked over both sites. They're pretty sleazy IMHO. from the pictures and verbiage, these people almost all look to me to be under the table sex workers. No judgement, but I'd steer clear unless you're comfortable with the Feds getting your data.

I wonder what the existence of cuddling websites says about a society. People are so starved for affection that they pay for plutonic touch. This could reflect a problem with the basic culture of a society.
These cuddle services are not for me. I love to be touched, both platonically and sexually. Perhaps I'm a bit odd, but trusting the person who is touching me is critically important. Being touched by a stranger is uncomfortable. Having sex with a stranger isn't going to happen! That idea is not even slightly appealing!!

I had the same thought about our crazy society and the prevalence extreme isolation that would lead to such a thing. Ugh.

Right. Per a sign I saw today, massages are $50/hour. It is not only more appealing, but cheaper.
