Not sure if it is possible or enough members would even want it, but what about a PM chat popup? I would use a chat popup if there was one. That was one of my favorite features of the old EP. I don't know how easy that is to incorporate though... might require a third party chat server. ProBoards/FreeForums does provide some various "plugins" that I can plug-in and deploy. I never used the EP chat... so please describe to me "what was good" about it. In particular, help me figure out this: - If it allowed one-on-one chat... then what is the downside of you and another member here from simply exchanging "chat" logins (from Skype, or Google Hangouts, or AIM, or Yahoo Messenger, or Facebook chat, or whatever the cool kids are using these days) and using that privately, between them?
- If it is always a group chat... then how is what you are describing different than this site's Shoutbox?
I'm just trying to understand what you are looking for. For example, I think I found a ProBoards plugin that enable chat on your site... but (if I understand it's description) you have to get a login at some third party chat site. So back to my point: if you have to do that, then why is that better than just using your existing Skype/FB chat/Google hangout? If I found a way to put the Shoutbox on its own window, then would you just opening a "Shoutbox specific" window be sufficient? (Keep it open an "next to" your current browsing window, while you browse the site.) If you'd like: feel free to research this by searching for "ProBoards chat plugins", and you find something that sounds good, please post here or PM me.

I've submitted the URL for this new forum to Google. If you'd like to help attract more users to this site, please do this: - Search for "ILIASM" in Google. If you see a link to this site, click it. (A the time of this writing, this site was listed 10th... after many references to ILIASM on Experice project.)
- Search for "sexless marriage" in Google. If you see a link to this site, click it.
- Search for "sexless marriage ILIASM" in Google. If you see a link to this site, click it.
If you can, do this once or twice a week. Thanks! My only issue is that I would prefer to have my photo off a "public site," for obvious reasons. So, if you can guide me through the "make photo private" process, I'm game.

I like the "Members" listing, is there any way to set up a running total like EP had? Or do I just have to use my fingers and toes and count the members?

A "staying on & coping" section would be great. This could include tips for finding sex outside the marriage for those that are craving skin to skin contact but want to stay in the marriage because of kids, financial and family reasons etc.

I like the "Members" listing, is there any way to set up a running total like EP had? Or do I just have to use my fingers and toes and count the members? On the main page (desktop version) there is a "group stats" section. Looks like we are up to 209 members. It also lists number of total posts, who is online now, who was online in the last 24 hours.

The Sexually Speaking forum here requires member login to access. While anyone can signup and see the photos you post there, Google won't see those posts. It seems that photos get hosted on a site called imgbb.com, and those images are indexed by Google, but I don't think there's any linkage from there back to your identity here.

I dont recall EP having a PM chat, but I think I was on after the changes and that is something they got rid of. One-on-one pm chat is what I was asking about. I rather like the way FaceBook has theirs, where you can be on and scrolling and a small pop up happens when you get a message, but still allows you to browse. As far as that goes, you can even be in another tab, and it puts a notification in the tab when someone writes or writes back. As far as a downside to exchanging chats from another service. I think most of us are a lot more public with those, and might not be a preferred option. Especially with FB, a slew of new friends would possibly be noticed by SO's. Also, an extra login and open window is more to keep up with, and in my case more to close down as needed. Sometimes, too much going on my puter (old and full) bogs it down. Love the 'shoutbox' keep it, dont change it. It is perfect for its purpose. In my opinion, if the plug-in requires third party login and another window or tab open, then it is just not worth it to me. I was just throwin an idea out to see if it stuck. if not, oh well. I dont really sit and chat that often, just thought it might be handy. I will take your suggestion and search as well, but probably wont spend much time with it. Thanks for checking. You are doing great as Admin.

Sent as message to Admin, but maybe it belongs here.
All of our fun pictures we just did: Surely an idea already considered, posting our pictures into our profile page. Privacy setting allows for view by members only. Anything inappropriate would be flagged by members, or seen by staff. A complication, but another setting to view by friends only, or all members.
Consensus seems to be we sure do like having our pictures available. But not floating around the site. Thanks

You mention two things as if they were there, but I don't see them. - A place to put photos on personal profiles.
- A way that the individual can change permissions.
I don't see them on the site as currently configured (which is minor changes from the default), nor do I see a setting or a plug-in to do either of the above. Am I missing something?

Maybe it's not easy from the mobile browser, but from the desktop, the text is completely editable, and I love this about this new place ☺ Just a Fiery thought It is absolutely impossible from the mobile browser - I have tried a couple of times and it won't show it was a quote. Not sure if I am doing something wrong, but totes agree. Sometimes, on there at least, I just go ahead and comment without quoting because I cannot stand to keep it going 3x in.

Second item first, the individual's preference of who can view photo. Privacy: Who can view my profile determines if members or entire world sees the profile details. The photo is inside the profile, so would be hidden from public view with members only selected. We would all see the photo. If there were an additional selection for friends only, only those members you trust would see it (similar to email visibility option). If you are that spooked about it, which is understandable, obviously a photo is not required, and everyone here so far respects this feeling. As to where to put photos on profile page, it's a decision by Admin, with suggestions from fellow members also please. Hopefully not a pain to create a spot. When we did the photo exchange, it happened relatively quickly. So newcomers today don't get the treat of seeing them, or posting theirs. And if gone for a week like I was, same thing. Fellow members can you add to this please?

When reading a thread is there a way we can read the latest post FIRST verses scrolling down 20 messages to the end? Yup! Instead of clicking on the thread name in the list, click on the "New" logo to the left - it'll jump you to the first message you haven't read yet. FWIW, my reading style works like this... * Check Participated, to find all the updated threads I've been talking in * Check Notifications, to find other updates * Check Home to see what sections have updates * Read new messages in those threads In the mobile web, Participated is under Navigation, I believe. Notifications are under Profile, but you can just click the bubble in the menu to jump there.

Another FWIW. All this is desktop, I haven't messed with phone: If you have your Notifications set accordingly, you get email when you are involved. For me most of it is displayed in the email. Then when logging in, there is a number cloud above Profile, these are the ones.
I will then go to Recent Posts, and scroll down until I find a subject or particular post of interest, or the one I added to lately. Open this in new window to read that subject. Then go back to Recent Posts. This is good for news. Problem now seems to be, there are so many members, subjects, posts, anything more than two days is so far back it's basically vanished.

Is there an easy way to make a poll on here? There is a way to do polls. I'll look in to enabling them. As with all site features, we can give it a try. If it becomes a problem or is generally viewed by the community as "annnoying", we may disable it. I'm working on other important site set up, still. I may get to this in a few weeks.
