@smartkat - EXCELLENT work protecting your own interests. He is nuts. Completely. Glad you blocked him. On a couple of the apps, there IS a way to "report" a profile. If your account allows this, I would recommend doing so. I don't know what really happens when this function is used, but in this case, I would do it and not worry about what form of rebuke he may receive from the site. SO glad that he showed this side so quickly though - in a way, that was a real blessing. I can deal with crazy I see THAT clearly (by walking away). I like bballgirl's quote - he only deserves those two words "Fuck Off" |

@smartkat I'm truly proud of you! I think you handled it well, with patience and grace, and perhaps made it a teaching moment for him too. No guarantees that he will actually learn from this and grow, but you put your best foot forward in the awkward situation. Kudos Kiddo!

What do you guys think about this? I think you should get a new burner number, and start texting him. He won't know who you are, so use this opportunity to really mess with him. Option 1: Pretend you are a woman he met, but be vague on the details, and get him really confused. "Hey: we had a really good conversation. Why haven't you called me back?" "So, are we going to meet at that place like you said?" And then convert over to abusive txting it is clear he doesn't "remember" fake-you. Option 2: Set up a fake profile, hit on him, set up a date.... and just don't show. (I think I'm surprisingly evil, sometimes. Do I surprise you with my twisted suggestions? Knowing you, SK, the more twisted, probably the more delighted you are!) And if you don't do this because you don't feel like you want to be mean to him, at least consider it a public service: the more time of his you tie up, the less time he is out there abusing other reasonable women. |
