I came in at the very end and just caught MissSunnyBunny and Hopingforachange to text. next time. Gotta learn how to use SKYPE I guess. Yeah. We should think about maybe organising a monthly Skype party. Thinking cap on  , that's a great idea! Along with tamara68 idea of holding them at different times so that those around the world can find one with a time that works for them. I had a great time not only seeing and talking to those who called in, but watching the gals here in Florida talk and laugh along. I learned a LOT about group Skype sessions (being more a Google Hangouts guy) and I'm confident it would go much more smoothly if we were to do it again. In fact, I'd like to volunteer for a late May ILIASM Skype PARTY. It's just too much fun, and so very cool to connect the different "voices" here to a face, a person, a real friend! Its hard for some to find the private time away from their refuser to join in at any one particular session (though the award for "she's in the next room" call goes to wewbwb, who bared his...uh...soul....uh...ok....ass, cracking everyone up), so multiple session at different times should really help. Thank you to all who were able to join, and had the patience to wait for me to figure out the tech difficulties. I'm used to having a 12 year old grandson helping...lol. I'll set a date for MAY soon, and set up another ILIASM group call. Stay tuned, more to come!!!! IJU. |

I want to thank @obobfl for doing the leg work to plan the trip. It was a pleasure to meet smilin61 itsjustus GeekGoddess This weekend was so therapeutic, we laughed so much, we relaxed, enjoyed the beach, ate a lot of yummy seafood and enjoyed each other's company in a risk free, non judgmental way. I look forward to future meet ups! |

I definitely enjoyed it! Meeting in person was even better than the Skype call, which was really damn good too. Any time there's another (Skype or in-person) I will do my best to join in. obobfla - the cottages were great, easy short walk to Madeira Beach. Great restaurant around the corner. Really good choice. Thank you for doing the research that helped make it happen. And bballgirl thank you for picking me up at the airport. You really made it easy for this novice traveler to enjoy my first visit to your lovely home state. Good to meet you in person smilin61!! I hope you & itsjustus really will come through to visit me on your way to the Ozarks sometime! |
