"My husband doesn't fit" is a series on Netflix about a Japanese woman whose husband's penis doesn't fit in her. Though there isn't an explicit "refuser" in the show like most of our experiences, it does capture a few things pretty well, like the feeling of isolation from others, the way preoccupation affects the rest of your life, outsourcing, etc. You do need to be comfortable reading the subtitles (unless you speak Japanese).
None of the sex scenes I've seen so far are real turn-ons, though.

I watched the series and actually they did try it out before marriage. Both of them were incredibly inexperienced, especially the female, and thought that if they just kept trying eventually they would get it in. Unfortunately it never worked.

Perhaps they should have tried a shoe horn and coconut oil?

The pussy is a muscle group, in part, and can stretch wide enough to pass a baby under the right conditions. My wife would lock up early in our marriage, so I have some idea what could be going on, but, TV and movie writers are often disconnected from reality. She just needs to relax. That is her husband's job, to get her to relax.

Sounds like one to watch when Game of Thrones finishes.

I'm not buying it. There's too much wrong with this picture. Bring in a relationship counselor and they'll unearth a lot of baggage.

OK, I was too hasty. I watched the trailer and read an article on it. It seems like a sensitively done story on one version of all of our stories.

The point is how the lack of intercourse affects their lives and marriage. It's not a documentary on a medical problem, it's a drama.

That is one of my problems with many movies and TV, and probably why I don't watch much of either. I have a hard time suspending reality for the sake of entertainment. For instance, I found that I could not watch CSI shows with my ex, because it was disturbing to her when I would point out where their science was flawed.

Things that are not real.
An actor starts a ford truck and the sound coming from the starter motor is from a Chrysler? Yes the starter motors sound different.
A car goes off the road and explodes into a big flaming ball? Cars, if they catch fire, start to burn first.
Way too many people with pistols shooting the other person from over 100 ft and the shooter hits the victim while both are on the run. Rifles are fairly accurate, but not pistols. Running while firing is even less accurate. OK, some drama enhancements I can live with.

Who would want to watch a fake reality show about two people just sitting around depressed because they have to use their hands on each other? At least his wife wants to have sex. I'd rather watch a (real) show about a SM.
Having said that, I did know a girl who had a boyfriend who was too big, and she said they just "got creative". And I once dated a girl who I couldn't fit in, so we just broke up. Neither case would have made a good TV show.
