Yeah, I forgot it was 4/1 too. I wonder who the prankster is. EP-Allie looks so sweet and demure. I will flag that post and see if the real EP-Allie screws him. |

Was it the work of a prankster? Probably :-)
I've never really believed that "EPAllie" is a real person. It was a mouthpiece/handle for several people who work(ed) at EP more likely.
I do wonder what those people now do. Presumably they didn't all get turfed out in the street, 17 year old schoolboy UI programmers included.

Was there an actual EPAllie? I always thought it was a room full of "get off my lawn and stop making that racket" humorless bots.

Maybe that's why she left...sometime ago. She was always getting abuse from the members blaming her for everything. I don't know for sure, but I think she was only the messenger...the spokesperson...but she took the brunt of the insults. After she left, or semi left, I think her username and persona became a catchall for all the frustration of the members. I always felt a bit sorry for her. I would not want her job. |
