Those of us poor suckers would have been overjoyed had our SO's been as upfront and honest as this new spouse.... Maybe there should be a law requiring "full disclosure"..... My wife and I had pre-marital counseling from our pastor. (Great guy) I'd love to be able to present every would-be couple a few questions: If you were paralyzed from the neck down, could your spouse see a hooker/gigilo? If you were unable to be physical with each other for some other reason, could they be with someone else? If you were able, but just unwilling? Would it be okay then? If you were willing, but only once a year...then? What's the floor at which point your partner gets a "hall pass"? If the threshold is met, do you expect to be notified? Or should they be discreet? They are not obligated to answer. This is more of a "thinking exercise". Lots and lots of thinking, possibly with alcohol. They can pay me for my services with their returned deposits from the venue and caterer.
