Does anybody want to come celebrate my 41st with me, the dentist, the cable guy and the mattress delivery crew? ‘Cause when else am I gonna get all this shit done? 🥳 PS- it will also be my very first parenting day as a single dad. 🤪 I’m gonna need more champagne flutes... So was it the 7th or 8th? Dunno how much time you gave us.

"I want her to hear the tone, brilliance, accent and fire in my Alabama voice when I respond to her drivel, bless her heart."
Screeeeetch! Hold up. You're a Bama boy? Well HOWDY neighbor! If ya need that designated driver...............
(For those of you who aren't from the fine state of Alabama, "bless her heart" is secret code for "Screw you, Bitch!" said with your sweetest and most sincere southern smile and a slight cock of you head, best illustrated through Mr Padgemi's profile picture which I'm sure is hiding the sarcastic grin that only true southerns are ever able to perfect)

I like it! Being a "nice guy" I thought the phrase originally was meant to be on the considerate side. Now I know better.

9:46am CDT 9 June 2020 2 days shy of his 41st year, having donned the mandatory face covering, socially isolated from any and all corresponding attorneys and the defendant approximately 96 inches on center, having taken the witness stand (after being coached to respond only "yes,") and having received approval from the Judge to terminate these long-breached wedding vows... walks itme out of this boarded-up, vandalized, graffiti-laced, arson-singed, yet open-for-business Metropolitan Government of Nashville & Davidson County Courthouse a single man. This stubborn-ass 16.8 year knot just got untied! [drops tie] The backdrop of the boarded up, graffiti covered courthouse seems oddly appropriate for the dissolution of your torturous marriage. Enjoy your hard earned freedom, brother Padgemi. Make the most of it. Life is short, but you just bought yourself a second chance.

Has anyone else gotten to know Iliza Shlesinger in passing on the way to this URL? Hers is the only image I see when I start typing. She keeps flashing that lovely face every time I type "ili...," so curiosity got to me today and so I clicked on the June 10 "Working on Yourself" episode of her podcast... www.iliza.com/podcastAnd what to my wondering ears should appear, But the first 5 minutes of SM talk, my dear! Kinda hilarious Heard about Shlesinger long before ILIASM.org. She brings up a topic that I thought of broaching in this forum in its own topic. SPOILER: If you want tot listen tot the podcast, go spend those five minutes then come back. A mentioned rationale for the young lady's indifference is lack of skill. I wondered whether we shouldn't provide some guidance for ILIASM participants on the off chance that a sliver of us aren't providing much for refusers to want. Religious folk, for example, may be woefully neglected in physiological mechanisms of arousal and orgasm and might benefit from a little education. Surely there are better places to learn about such things, but then maybe the forum topic could be a series of links that explain such phenomena or techniques in detail. Heck, while I've heard of Kama-Sutra, I do not know the details and they're rarely mentioned. Here on ILIASM.org, for example I learned for the first time what you're supposed to do with anal beads. Not my cup of tea, but I'm not fond of my ignorance. I'd heard of them in some kind humorous context. They were kinky as hell, but I still didn't know why they got mentioned so much or what you did with them. Of course, you can't unlearn something so, caveat emptor. I strongly suspect technique isn't nearly so important for triggering initiating by a refuser (to be fair, the questioner wasn't a refuser, just not an initiator) as communication and medical reasons, but it can't hurt for the 1% were ignorance is at the heart of the matter and may be of use to a great many more who will end up with someone new.

One website that I recommend to my readers of my website is giverheranorgasm.com While NSFW, it isn't pornographic and is actually instructional. (And I'm am wondering how many ILIASM readers just did a spit-take realizing that it is a religious fundamentalist giving out this info. )

She sends checks to the memorable lovers in her life, men who took the time and energy to make her feel like a woman worth pleasing. To do this, she forms the Luck Dick Club. Perhaps the LDC will help reinforce the idea that good sex should be encouraged.
Wouldn't I want to be in the LDC?

Those are the sponsors. The actual site has, I think, pretty good info. Graphic, yes, but not gratuitous.

So, by extension... study partners? Lab exercises? For science, of course. ;-)
I’m all for academia, but some topics are more of a practical art. With peer review, if you will.
For any other topic, it’s the obvious way to learn. Kinda like what we might’ve done in our youth if we had half a clue about what a reasonable expectation of sex should be.
Given a little prompting for activities, and a partner who has an answer for “What do you enjoy?” and will respond with more than “It was OK” when asked for a Yelp review... well, I imagine someone who is open to feedback would happily adopt “process improvement” principles of “When she says she likes something, do more of that!”
This is, apparently, not obvious to everyone. So, it’s worth learning. And practicing. On both sides of the interaction, because being vulnerable and sharing feedback is half the equation.
And I’m rambling now, but to have a partner who shares the adventure and offers their own input... could make for some great chemistry!

Penny for your 2 cents: Is my dirty mind playing tricks on me? I am not an expert but I think your mind is working quite well. That seems like a very well-phrased suggestion that allows for professional face saving. So the question is - Do you take the chance or not? Worst case is you get rejected, BTDT and got the tshirt.

No itme I think she's hitting on you. But in this me too times I would move slowly to be sure she actually is. These professional connections can be tricky.

itme- your mind is not playing tricks on you. She is showing some interest. I wouldn’t pursue an invitation to her place but a lunch date with continued professionalism is a good next step.

Since this involves a business relationship/connection I would agree with others that you should exercise some care in how you proceed. If you propose a coffee meet or business lunch date it affords the opportunity for you to show her you have more than just a business interest in her. Finding ways to let her know your meter is running has to be tempered with the possibility that she is just a friendly outgoing person.
