Spinach and onions, cold and sour , Amongst food that's equally dour, She puts out a plate, But won't out out for a mate, Why did I put my life within her power?

Once a husband's delight, Any time, anywhere, go all night! Now her heart's only for money, She's closed off the honey, Planning the marriage a disaster site Auto correct is usually fine, Many an error it's caught of mine, But as you'll see in the limerick, On me it's played a mean trick, Changing "making" to "planning" in the last line

Hi, all! Thanks for playing along this year, once again! So it is nearly midnight (where I am) on Valentine's Day, so I'm calling the race before I hit the hay.... And the winner is: choosinghappy once again! Congrats! Close race: the early entry from h got an early lead which was held right up until yesterday. Note the thread will stay open, and you are welcome to continue to both post poems and vote with your likes, but the contest is a wrap.

Hello, all. Apologies for my looooooooooooooooooooooooooooong radio silence. (Rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated.) I consider an update-on-me post later.
Apologies too for my forgetting to kick off this year's "Disparage Your Marriage" thread. Do please contribute a limerick here if you'd like. Perhaps I'll yet kick off an "official" contest, just a bit later this year.

A man and a woman were wed But "no sex" was all that she said. He begged and he pleaded. She said it's not needed. He handled it solo instead.
