Argentina is one of those places that has always called to me, DryCreek. Tango, soccer, the "Paris of the Americas." It doesn't have to try to be romantic - it just is. It's the most European city I've seen in the Americas. Instantly familiar. One of a handful of places I've left thinking "I might like to live here". It's been many years; I wonder if it's still like that now. There's been a lot of political and economic turmoil since my visit.

Now I really want to dance! In high school, I never went to the prom. Probably my biggest regret was not going. Nowadays, I wish I could dress up, take a beautiful woman out in a limo, and dance the night away.

I wish I'd realized how important dancing was to me in a partner/spouse. I miss dancing! I'm not good -- but I'd so love to learn!

Fair enough. I was probably too narrow with "ballroom", but really anything other than free form. Say, line dancing, square dancing, etc. I.e., styles that can be learned in a setting where a noob can have fun in the process. ;-) Maybe I should start with Flamenco. Yeah, that looks easy... I took a Flamenco class in Sevilla, Spain. Trust me - not so easy. When I finally got the footwork down I needed to do all kinds of moves with my arms and hands with the footwork. I was a mess! However I took students to a Flamenco show that night and we had a huge appreciation for the performers on the stage as we drank our Sangria and yelled Ole! That was a lot of fun!

I love watching Flamenco! Many years ago, I pined for a dark-haired girl of Mexican descent, so some friends took me to the Columbia Restaurant in Tampa for my birthday. It was one of my favorite birthdays ever. The food was divine, and the restaurant had a Flamenco floor show. By the end of the night, I wanted to order flamenco dancer to go!
Years later I went back with my wife and a female friend. My friend took a shine to a male dancer and wanted him packaged up to go!
Here is a YouTube clip of the place

They should visit your area. Unbelievable sunsets, spring training baseball, and flamenco dancing!
