I've done it. You probably have, too. And you are tweaked at yourself when it happens...
You somehow managed to close a window or tab before you were done replying... or you forgot to hit "Post Reply" or "Create Message". So you lost all your work. AAAAARRRRGGGHHH!
Here's today's tip: The forum has a way to auto-save drafts.
Here's how to turn it on:
"Profile" menu --> "Edit Profile" button --> "Settings" tab --> "Enable Drafts" section: Yes.
Now if you navigate away from a page before clicking the send button, when you return to that thread or PM you'll get a pop-up dialog asking if you want to restore your prior work.
NOTE: This tip applies to the standard version of the site running in a browser on a desktop/laptop computer. This feature may or may not exist in the mobile browser, and may or may not exist in Tapatalk. If anyone can confirm, please post info below, and I'll update this tip.

The auto saving drafts doesn't exist on Tapatalk, but if you press the back button, it will save your draft.
For some of my longer posts in Tapatalk, I will select all and copy the post to have as a backup.
