I confess, I am not tidy. Neither was my wife when she was alive, and it made things worse between us.
Right now, I am finding messiness is harder to give up than alcohol and sugar. I try to make sure no dishes are left in the sink, laundry is done, and the apartment gets cleaned once a week. If anyone knows of any Messiness Anonymous meetings, let me know.

neither of us is tidy. We keep a decent house and house work is pretty much 50/50. I realize that I will never be organized and neither will she. We just have lots of stuff and dont know how to get it together.
I can get to my table saw, can work on the house, cars, boat and camper. I just cant get it all organized.
I go to people's houses and dont see any stuff. Where is it all. They a re immaculate. Where are the books, puzzles, boat cushions, extra electronics, cds, movies, cat toys, sex toys, water buffalo, frogs, cat tree, couch blankets and pillows, musical instruments, drafting table, easel, incomplete art work..and on and on.
Most would say our house looks lived in, I would guess.

If anyone knows of any Messiness Anonymous meetings, let me kno If your sink is free of dishes, laundry done, and you're cleaning your apartment once a week, you should be leading therapy sessions at Messiness Anonymous meetings, IMHO. I can only aspire to such a state of blissful orderliness! 😩
