I don't get it either, but it happened to me twice, once with my ex, and again with my current wife. With my current wife, it actually happened sooner. Since it has happened to me twice, its hard to believe that I am not somehow defective, or if the fact they stopped desiring me is my fault. Being in a sexless relationship really messes with your head. LITW, it's because we are too fucking nice, tolerant, and patient instead of putting a foot down early and nipping this behavior in the bud. |

All I can say is you're not alone and hope you find your happiness someday. Your story is similar to mine in that my wife lost interest immediately after giving birth and never got it back. I've thought endlessly about this unfair bait and switch. All I wanted was a happy family and my child grow up in a happy family. I just cant seem to give up on that dream that has been dragging on for years.
