Statistics are crap. They can be skewed to show whatever the author desires.
We need to know more than reported figures.
Ie how big was the test sample, how were the respondents picked? What criteria did they meet? Was there bias in the study? The list goes on.

Unless I am confident I trust the source and the study was carried out on a grand scale without prejudice, I ignore them
