If I knew that my life were to end tomorrow I would: Spend time with my dogs and cats and enjoy their company and companionship. Find a nice park and take a walk alone and try to remember all the good times I've had in my life and be thankful for each one of those times. Go to the beach and watch the sunset for the final time and realize that the pain and loneliness that I'm currently experiencing would soon be over. this makes me very sad for you, solodriver . you deserve better. at least I think you do. what do you believe? Well saarinista, that is a totally honest assessment of today. Maybe a year from now, things will be different. I am hoping and working towards that.

Another question to ponder over the weekend:
What are you busy doing today? Will it matter in a year?

Another question to ponder over the weekend: What are you busy doing today? Will it matter in a year? I'm at work on my lunch break now. Nothing I'm doing today will matter in a year.

Another question to ponder over the weekend: What are you busy doing today? Will it matter in a year? Right now ballofconfusion is on descent to the airport. Last night her second oldest son flew in and he and my son hung out. It is the first time they met. We had a great evening. In a year, this weekend will probably matter quite a bit.

Another question to ponder over the weekend: What are you busy doing today? Will it matter in a year? What did I do today? I got the lawn tractor started and mowed the grass thus beginning the lawn chores for this season. Will it matter in a year? Nope but it sure matters now.

I filed my taxes early last month and got one of my refunds a couple of weeks later. At the end of March one company that put money in my account sent me a K-1 (similar to a Div 1099) 14 days late so today I tried to figure out where the 60+ lines of information/numbers go on my tax papers so I can file an amended tax return.
The IRS gave me crap 4 times in my life and I came out on top but it was a PIA. I don't want to have to explain anything to the IRS. The supposed mistakes I made in the past (I was correct each time) the IRS wanted some nasty penalties at first.
It will make a difference if I don't get all of the individual numbers on the correct lines.
Side note: I am taking care of 14 chickens (7 different types) for a neighbor. A couple like to be petted and when I pet them they coo/chuckle. Who would have guessed some chickens like to be petted. Eggs, about 4 to 8 a day, some brown, some white, some light gray-greenish, it all depends on the breed. The chickens all eat the same feed so the old tales that brown eggs are healthier is a myth.
The type of chicken determines the shell color.

We are buying a house. Just got a loan improved. We are making arrangements for living together formally and all financial issues. That will be important for both our futures.

Lessingham dark matter and dark energy.
What about "black holes?" They have been in the news this week.
I am lazy, I just watch a few Youtube videos and read what Wikipedia has to say.

solodriver - “I am...I said”. One of my favorite songs!! I've been a Neil Diamond fan since I was a teen. The first time as a 16 year old I heard this song, I felt like that song was ME I felt alone, was in a physically and emotionally abusive home and was alone most of the time
I like this particular version over the album version because you can see in his facial expressions the meaning and pain that the song has for him personally. I read that he wrote this song during a deep depression after the breakup of a long relationship while living in Southern California. I can relate to much of this song, especially in the depths of my current SM situation:
"I Am (sexual, loving, needing to be touched and touching back, caring) I Said, to no one there (my refuser doesn't listen and doesn't care) "Not even the chair"
The portion that is missing after this on the video was that this was his closing song of the concert. He waved goodbye, left the stage and I imagine the roar of the crowd made him emotional off stage and he came back to do an encore.
Sure is a shame we don't have singers like him anymore.
