Well, this thread has been pretty thoroughly hijacked! My favorite documentary hands-down was Rambo - First Blood Part II Followed by Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Hate to break it to you, shamwow, but those are fake documentaries.

In China, the male child takes care of the parents so many female fetus were aborted. There are more men than women of marriage age in China and it has become a problem. It is estimated by 2020 there will be 24 million males of marriage age that will remain bachelors because of the lack of marriageable females. Men go to work while many women go to university /college so many women are better educated than the men. Dating has gotten so selective for the women that often a man has to have a sizeable bank account, a nice place to live, a dece3nt and stable income and he has to do housework and cook. In Japan, there are dating services for women that charge the women thousands of dollars (US equivalent) that only have men that have very high incomes and a very stable government job. In Japan and China it seems like nice poorer guys just give up on marriage type relationships and settle for some paid sex.
The Chinese are working on a solution to the leftover man crisis: www.dailymail.co.uk/embed/video/1508437.html

I think I like some of the old "Amazing Marriage Customs - China Anthropology | BBC Documentary" better.

shamwow - I don't watch a whole lot of tv. I've only ever used VPN to watch college football - doesn't seem worth it for anything else. And since my team is in the midst of a rebuilding decade which is now stretching into the 2nd rebuilding decade...well - it's too painful to watch. :-( My team lost again yesterday.

I appreciate the tongue-in-cheek political joking around as much as the next guy (or gal)...
But -- as a gentle reminder -- I do need to remind everyone to steer clear of political discussions on this forum. One person's "obviously lighthearted comment" can be misconstrued in too many ways.
Thanks.

Flounder Knew they should have nominated Sanders.Or Ralph Nader and throw in Elizabeth Warren. I nominate baza. Gotta make him a US citizen first, but that shouldn't be an issue. He’s got my vote.

shamwow - I'm afraid naturalised citizens arent eligible. Only 'natural born'. Which is a shame. Many naturalized citizens I know love this country more than the ones in charge. Ok,I’m really done now. Back to our regularly scheduled show.

I think Sanders should have marketed himself better, with a catch phrase like, "a chicken in every pot," or "fried chicken and legalized pot". It was a big turn-off to me when he implied the reason kids were starving was because we had so many choices of deodorants. As if someone making a better deodorant would have any negative affect on after-school lunch give-aways. It would just make me smell bad and the same kids would still be avoiding the crap the cafeteria serves.

In my experience if you legalize pot you will need more chicken (or cookies or pizza or uh what were we talking about again?)

Something all sides should get behind! (Sorry, joke, not political)
