sexual anorexia, an extreme fear of sexual intimacy and obsessive avoidance of sex I just became aware of this concept. It really resonates as a description of my h. No, that does not change anything but I may read this book. It has been tough on my self esteem that my h has always seemed a bit afraid of me, particularly sexually. His rejection and fear have made me feel like I am too aggressive and that something must be wrong with me. It may be helpful to counter that voice in my head to out his fear in a clinical context, making it less personal. Thought othera here may find this useful. Particulalry the stayers as the book really seems focused on treatment. books.google.com/books/about/Sexual_Anorexia.html?id=FQTXDQAAQBAJ&source=kp_book_description

Sounds intriguing! Just be careful not to throw away (dismiss) all the other negative, manipulative, controlling ,lazy, immature, selfish, aspects that you are now very aware of in how your H treats you, and takes full advantage of your good nature.

Self help books are nearly always worth a read. Usually there is something of value in them - even the scented candles jobs.
The value though is usually not seen in the context of doing anything about ones current ILIASM shithole, but is rather of value for your next turn at bat. Your next relationship if one comes up.
A working knowledge of the subject of "Sexual Anorexia" won't hurt you.
