Oh yes, so very many. Obviously none have worked. Over the years I would find a new one and get really into it and then nothing would change. Rinse, repeat. I have really enjoyed listening to Esther Perel's podcast though. She is really great and the podcast works with lots of sexless couples. Very powerful. I have not read her book yet but heard great things. She is extraordinary.

Like Sister workingonit I was an outright devourer of such literature back in the day. And, in just about every one there was "something" of value even if a helluva lot of the content was garbage. I learned an absolute heap about dud marriages and assorted related matters. So from that 'gaining knowledge' perspective these various books etc were really really valuable. To me. But I would have to say that the exercise had no discernable effect on my ILASM deal...although I did *understand* it a bit better. As far as being an agent for change, it was a complete non-event. I don't regard it as wasted effort however, as I learned a lot. So Brother @lostsoul , my suggestion is - every time you see such a book, podcast etc, read it, watch it, devour it. It will add to your knowledge. And that's a worthwhile outcome all by itself. As far as doing much about your ILIASM shithole, keep your expectations real low. REAL low. Because if you are the only one doing the research, that alone can not get "the marriage" very far.
