The further adventures with 3 year old grandson. I was putting up the last big piece of drywall in a basement room yesterday and of course grandson was helping. I said to him that I was hot and took off my sweatshirt, hung it over the handle of the push broom. He then had to take off his coat and hang it over my sweatshirt. No surprise there.
As I was fitting the piece in he said we need some place to hang coats in here. I agreed and said we needed an idea. I hear him mumbling to himself and doing something behind me. He then says "Grandpa this should work" . I looked down and he had found a piece of board, 1 x 2 by about 18 inches, and 4 screws. He said we could use two screws to hold the board to the wall and two screws sticking out to hold coats.
He is scary sometimes.
