If it helps, I find a megadose of B vitamins helps me sleep better and keeps me alert when I am awake. Hopefully, a good night's rest will relieve some of that stress.
I'm also a gym rat, though, so...
I need something to help me sleep better that's not a drug, so maybe I will try vit B. With two recent bereavements and dealing with bureaucrats etc, and then my own loneliness, I am not sleeping well. Working out does not help me sleep.

My new part time job as a cashier at a pharmacy has me suggesting you try melatonin (check with a doctor on what dose to try, as we carry 3, 5 , & 10 mg doses). A friend had good results using it to help be able to fall asleep.
